Susan G. Farooqi is an Associate admitted to practice law in the State of New York and a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Ms. Farooqi’s practice is concentrated in the real estate field, including all aspects of real estate acquisition, sale, finance, leasing and related matters. She represents a variety of borrowers, banks, private equity investors, developers, buyers and sellers in successfully consummating diverse transactions in the five boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk & Westchester Counties.
Ms. Farooqi also represents various clients in connection with commercial matters, along with providing legal advice regarding all facets of business formation and development. In addition to her real estate practice experience, she represents international and domestic corporations, self-insured companies, municipalities, medical professionals and private individuals in litigation matters.
While attending St. John's University School of Law, she served as an Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development (JCRED). She is a proud advocate for international women’s rights and has published related works on The JURIST and JCRED. Ms. Farooqi participated in the 62nd session of the Commission on the Status of Women hosted by the United Nations Economic and Social Council and continues to seek ways to contribute to her community.
Ms. Farooqi attended the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College of the City University of New York, where she obtained a background in accounting.
